When will you open?

The short answer is sometime in 2024. The longer answer is that due to the nature and scope of this restoration, we aren't yet sure about our specific opening dates. We have already opened our adjacent location, Carriage House Sundries, a wine & cigar shop, cafe, and lounge. Our next goal is to get the NuWray restaurant open, and rooms will open as they are finished. We will announce our opening dates via our email newsletter and Facebook and Instagram, so be sure to follow us in all those places.

Can I book a room?

We are not yet ready to start accepting reservations in the main hotel, but we ARE booking rooms in the Carriage House, just behind the NuWray. You can book directly on our website, call us at (828) 678-7070, or email stay@nuwray.com to reserve a Carriage House Room. We will make announcements when we open reservations for the main hotel via our email newsletter and Facebook and Instagram, so be sure to follow us in all those places.

Can I book a private event?

We have started slowly booking private events in our outdoor spaces and at our adjacent location, Carriage House Sundries. To inquire, send us an email at events@nuwray.com with as many details about your private event as possible. If we are able to accommodate you, we will let you know!

How many rooms will you have?

We will have 22 rooms in the main hotel, most of which can accommodate two people on queen or king beds. We also have 5 additional rooms on the 2nd floor of the Carriage House, just behind the NuWray Hotel on S. Main St. These rooms will be able to accommodate up to four people, and will be kid- and pet-friendly.
