Hotel positions

Front Desk Attendant

\Front Desk Attendants are responsible for providing the best customer service and front-line hospitality for guests at the NuWray Hotel, and should develop a broad knowledge of our history, services, and room types, as well as Burnsville area activities and happenings to recommend to guests. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Hourly pay starts at $12/hr, with higher rates possible, commensurate with experience.

Night Audit

The Night Auditor reports directly to the Hotel Manager and is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily financial and operational records. This role combines guest service, security awareness, and accounting responsibilities to support smooth hotel operations. Hourly pay starts at $13/hr, with higher rates possible,

commensurate with experience.

Restaurant General Manager

The Restaurant General Manager reports directly to the Hotel Manager and oversees all front of house operations across the NuWray Hotel food and beverage outlets, including the Old Ray restaurant, Roland's Bar, Carriage House Sundries, the Washroom, and all banquets & catering operations, ultimately ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless coordination between front and back of house teams.

Front of House — Varying Positions

The NuWray Hotel is looking for hosts, food runners, servers, and baristas to work at both of our restaurants, the Old Ray and Carriage House Sundries. Varying schedules available, and hourly pay ranges from $6-12/hr depending on position and experience.

Executive Chef

The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall food program at the NuWray — including the Old Ray restaurant, Carriage House Sundries, catering menus, and side menus for auxiliary bars — and ensures the best guest experience across the hotel and its venues.

Sous Chef

The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations for Carriage House Sundries at the NuWray Hotel, and assists with day-to-day operations of the culinary department.

Line Cook

We are currently hiring line cooks for the Old Ray in-house restaurant and Carriage House Sundries, our adjacent location at 7 S. Main St. Varying schedules available. Hourly pay for line cooks is $16-20/hr, depending on experience.
